This doesn't stay for long, when certain cutscenes are triggered, it drops back down to is default 38FPS limit. ![]() I was screwing around with ways to getting the game to run in windowed mode, and I decided to try out DxWnd. While playing the game casually, it seems to default at 38FPS during gameplay, but cutscenes run at the highest FPS they can, usually games would run at 60FPS during gameplay and impose an FPS cap for cutscenes. In any case, Shrek 2 exhibits some unusual behavior. Shrek 2 was one such case, however Activision made the decision to also release a port of the console game. You see, in the noughties, many publishers took the route of releasing games with identical titles on consoles and PC, but the PC version was difference, and in many cases vastly inferior. I've recently come into possession of the aforementioned game, and for the uninitiated, this was the name of the PC port of the console game. ![]()
